Then we diligently seek the ideal potential buyer by searching our extensive database and by targeted advertising in all appropriate media including professional journals, newspapers, and on our website.
After we have identified prospective purchasers for a practice, we carefully screen them. All potential buyers must have a signed confidentiality agreement on file in our office, and no buyer visits any practice unless a credit check has been performed and the buyer has been personally interviewed. In general, we show every practice personally and a time convenient for the seller. All information received from the seller and from the buyer is held in strictest confidence.
Once an appropriate match has been made between the seller and potential buyer we work closely with all involved—attorneys and accountants and financing sources—to structure and implement a smooth transition that benefits both the seller and purchaser.
