Dear Alan, I am writing this letter to thank you and Jim Moore for all your efforts in working the sale of my dental practice to its final conclusion. I cannot express enough my happiness with your efforts. I know I can be difficult and demanding at times, I’m sorry, but you guys are the greatest! As you know, I interviewed several brokers before meeting with you and Jim, but after meeting you two in person, I knew I had found the right Brokers. Like many dentists contemplating selling their practice, I initially thought I could do it myself and save the Broker’s commission, after all I had a great practice in a great area, I was certain young docs would beat my door down. You explained how that would not happen, how selling my practice was an extremely difficult undertaking, how much time would be required and educated me thoroughly in what I could expect. As for the money, I had a number in my own mind and when you told me what you thought it would sell for, which was much more than I thought it would bring, I thought you were just giving me a sales pitch. But even at that I was so comfortable with you two that I felt if I got somewhere between my number and your prediction I would be very content. As the process evolved, and Jim and I met with several great qualified and interested Buyers, I soon was confident your listing price was realistic. When we finally closed (at even more than your asking price) with the absolutely best match I could have imagined, I have to say Jim Moore was right. He kept reassuring me, as he did the potential buyers, that the price was not the determining factor, the practice philosophy, the personality match and the Buyer’s ability to see the potential above what I was doing were the truly important factors. Thank you so much Jim and Alan for a professional, honest effort that resulted in my total satisfaction. You have made it possible for me to continue my life’s plans.
